For three weeks now, four wagon trains in our classroom have been led toward Oregon on the Hacker's Trail. Wagon Masters Deven, Natalie, Charlie and Ben have led their pioneers on this challenging journey. They have faced sickness, insects, severe weather, hostile Native Americans, and today, a river crossing. Pioneers utilized their engineering ideas to construct bridges. Most of our wagon trains succeeded and avoided delay points and reduced energy factors. Tomorrow, each wagon train's final fate and success or failure will be determined.
