Our class concluded this week with marble races. Each fifth grade class was given a half hour to plan and an hour to build a marble track. The goal was to construct a track that would provide the marble with the longest course and a start and finish time that was the largest in the class, and then later in the grade level. What was accomplished? Competition, creativity, cooperation, collaboration, persistence, and fun!
We've had a busy week and a half with Camp Edwards, Field Day, Rube Goldberg machines, a craft with our kindergarten buddies, a visit with a naturalist and two live owls, sharing about internet safety, our class end-of-year celebration, and a fifth grade graduation rehearsal. Monday will be great! Be sure to view more photos that have been added to the class website!
