What happens when you give fifth graders an afternoon to make up their own fun? Without electronic devices? Well... they have a good time. They interact with lots of different peers. They use their imaginations. They feel tired at the end of the afternoon. There's a lot of variety and activity... everything from dress-up and a play to the playing of instruments. There's fort-building, board games, basketball, Lego-building, and a whole lot more. Hopefully, this afternoon will spark everyone's enthusiasm for unstructured play and creative social interactions.
