Four times in one day, our class ventured outside and measured shadows, counted how many of our "fists" the sun appeared above the horizon, and observed the movement of the sun. We started graphing our data and will continue to do so this week. Students will discover the inverse relationship between the rise and fall of the sun on the horizon and the length of shadows. They will write a constructed response explaining these phenomena.
